I was sent on a new life- path of absolute wonder as I began to see life, the world and people through new eyes. New feelings were borne out of compassion and universal love. New words like spirituality, and new sentences entered my vocabulary such as; healing at deep levels, learning to be grateful for the lessons that were there for the sole purpose of making one stronger and more compassionate, learning to be non- judgemental, being able to forgive in order to move forward, life's purpose, co-created situations and pre-ordained circumstances, body's that can heal themselves, spiritual abundance, and many more all served to set a new direction to my life.

I felt as if I had been liberated, lifted and healed and that yes I really did deserve it! There was no doubt in my mind that I would one day return to the UK from my new home in Thailand and share my journey with others in the future. My confidence and self-esteem took on new levels; something amazing was happening to me that I wasn't in control of so I surrendered to it. I sat back and let it happen. During that time the right books came my way and a new understanding of spirituality began. I found the power and wonder of E.f.t. I was brought to Reiki and N.L.P. and wasn't afraid of learning new skills - in fact I became a workshop junky for a while. I also found (actually they found me) people who liked me and took me for what I was and not for what they wanted or expected me to be. They were non-judgmental, full of love, understanding and compassion; this was sadly a totally new experience for me. Importantly though, these wonderful and true friends had absolute respect for both what I had done and why I had chosen to leave everything behind in my search of some answers. Now that was a real WOW for me.

Now I can tell you that the universe has a nasty habit of reigning you in or pulling you back by whatever means if you choose to do something that is not for your highest good and by that I mean also the good of the world. I went on my first retreat too early when I was far from ready but ego dictated that I didn't want to be left out, and my back gave out. I collapsed 3 times in the house in Bang Pho, a remote Northern part of the island of Kho Samui in Thailand, I had 2 neighbours there, the second being a cobra living 2 doors away. As luck would have it I heard that a Master E.f.t. trainer/practitioner was coming to the island to conduct a level 1 certificated course and that he would be just a short walk along the beach from where I was staying, (coincidence? I don't think so)! I decided to join the group with E.f.t. Master Karl Dawson one of only 13 E.f.t. Masters in the world at that time. Karl could see the pain I was in and worked on the fact that I wasn't feeling supported then, nor through the traumas I had experienced. As E.f.t. was applied I began to feel the pain subside, it was as if my back had 2 hard balls made up of rubber bands at the base and the bands started to pop and ping for want of a better explanation, they sort of melted away and within less than 5 minutes my back pain had gone and has never returned. Now if I can experience something as powerful as that, as simple, as elegant, and so full of grace, then there be must be many people who could benefit also. So with the law of attraction firmly in place, the next phase of my journey was about to begin.

Karl Dawson has taken me through to E.f.t. advanced practitioner level on his courses from Thailand through Warwick and Brighton! He is the founder of Matrix-Re imprinting that works hand in hand with E.f.t. and I was happy to attend his practitioner's course of M.R. I am grateful to Karl for his knowledge, patience and spirituality. I am also grateful to Dr. Sylvia Hartmann for guiding me through to become an E.f.t. master practitioner with the Association for Meridian and Energy Therapies in November 2011.

Before I left Asia I wanted to give something back to this part of the world that had treated me so well, that is when my good friend and mentor Maggie Counihan took me to Siem Reap in Cambodia to meet the children of the children's village there. She sponsored 2 babies and when I asked if there were older boys or girls who wanted to make something of their lives I was introduced to Hang Hun. Although I knew I did not have the money to fund him through the whole 8 years, somehow I knew it was meant to be therefore it was going to happen. I just know that he will qualify and make a great doctor. Everything is perfect!

I have been channelling healing energy since I first discovered Reiki. I went on to be trained as a Reiki teacher. Reiki teachers are often called Reiki Masters but I cannot in all conscience call myself a Master in so short a time span, although others do and that is fine with me. I am also a member of the Sussex Healer's Association.

Western society demands certificates for everything and although I have complied for culture's sake I would like to stress here that the qualifications that really matter to me are the ones borne out of life itself. That is the real reason I feel qualified to offer my unique way of healing through the wonders and power of E.f.t.; Energy work, the elegance and magic of Matrix Re-Imprinting and/or humbled in the presence of working with the ascended Reiki Masters and healers. I am qualified to give and share this with you, are you ready to embrace the changes that will result?

I believe  that everything happens for a reason, and so there is a reason why you have taken the time to read this and I am grateful that you have. Thank you for allowing me to share my journey with you, for listening and opening your heart to new ideals, therapies, and journeys of discovery.
